June 19, 2020 - As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to evolve, Alectra is taking active measures to support customers and protect its employees and the public.
Alectra has increased staffing levels and is adding extra crews where possible to work through the large backlog of requests relating to new services, upgrades and service removals.
Our primary focus still remains on the following items as we continue to follow strict guidelines as identified by the province of Ontario along with industry best practices.
• The continued safe operation of our electricity grid;
• Emergency and restorative services, and;
• Other services required to support emergency field operations.
As we work through the backlog there will likely be delays in responding to new applications for the immediate future. We understand the importance of your requests and we are working in a chronological manner to book work while giving special attention to any concerns regarding safety and new occupancies.
In order to ensure that Alectra is aware of any new connections payments, please email a picture of the cheque, the reference number, the address of the project along with a contact email and phone number to email@example.com
